Hello and welcome, I'm Michael Hagenmayer, composer and musician.
I'm a singer-songwriter from Germany playing a few instruments. After travelling the world I've found my home in Indonesia.
I play solo concerts as a singer-songwriter with acoustic guitar. You also may find me in a studio playing weird electric guitar solos and heavy riffs for the website of a famous German sportscar manufacturer. Sometimes I'm invited to take part in jazz-fusion-projects. You'll probably meet me live on festivals with my long time world music project "Music for Wood and Steel". Sometimes I'm performing live improvised "stand-up"-music for magicians, author readings or acting. Or creating noise installations and performances in modern contemporary music. Eventually you'll find a dark and experimental soundscape for a French TV-documentation about Australian aboriginees. I've recorded theatre soundtracks, radio plays, short film clips and movie scores.
